Mariella Franceschi is an artist from Carupano, Venezuela. She has studied around the world. After serving as an apprentice of Ophrah Shemesh in NYC, Mariella opened a studio in Lima, Peru. Here she focused primarily on canvas paintings. After several years, Mariella decided to travel the world to seek inspiration. She covered India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Indonedia, Pakistan and many more before she settled back to her roots in Caracas, Venezuela. Here she began experimenting with ceramic work. She worked alongside Elena Siblesz before opening a ceramic studio. Currently Mariella focuses on ceramic works while continuing to practice canvas painting and traditional work on paper.
